With the new logo and colour added, the Eagles continue to be at the forefront of design and marketing in British American Football, understanding that the look off the field is just as important to current and prospective players as the results and performances are on it.
The move see’s the club combine the colours of the two
founding clubs, Bedfordshire Blue Raiders and Milton Keynes Pathfinders, to
form the ‘Cool Purple’ that can be seen in the logo.
The ‘Fused O’ design was created to further pay homage to
the two founding clubs coming together, showing the two half’s coming together
to form the O.
“We wanted to create a logo that would represent our club
moving forward, but also show we are proud of where we come from” said Chairman
Neale McMaster.
“One of the goals for the logo was to create something that
shows former Bedford and Milton Keynes players and staff that their legacy is
still going strong. Whilst the name may have changed, the history of the club
is based on their achievements. We really wanted to honour that as best we
could, and the guys at 2G Creative have done a tremendous job with it.”
“Our main colours will remain as White and Silver, and it
was presumed black would be added also, but we wanted to continue to push the
boundaries and remain unique in Britball, the ‘Cool Purple’ provides that.
We’ll be adding it onto our merchandise along with the new logo, and it gives
us a lot of options regarding kit in the future. “
“Our original logo was awesome, but after allowing ourselves
to bed in as a club, we didn’t feel it represented everything it should. This
new logo represents the Eagles, and is completely unique. This is something we
will be proud to use moving forward through the years.”
