BAFA Situations Vacant

Shropshire Revolution are looking for a new Head Coach to spearhead their 2016 campaign following the resignation of Coach Giddeon Beddows shortly after the final game of the season defeat to Merseyside Nighthawks in early August. 2015 proved to be a tough season for the Revolution, who recorded their first ever winless season following a turnover in playing personnel and the step up in level to Division 1. However the club is now looking to bounce back next season and welcome any potential candidates to apply for the position.

The club is building at all levels with a Youth team competing for the first time this season and a Flag program in the county also growing. With a solid core of players in place and recruiting activities lined up for next season the Revolution hope to be an attractive proposition for the right candidate to help build a sustainable future for American Football in Shropshire.

To apply please get in touch via the club website, message us here through Facebook or email shropshirerevolutionaf@gmail.com

For an informal discussion feel free to phone Dave Reid 07795843699.

After a narrow defeat in the BAFANL Premier Division semi-final versus the reigning national champions the Tamworth Phoenix now look ahead to the 2016 season and beyond. Returning Head Coach Martin Hilton is looking to build up the coaching staff to support offensive and defensive coordinators Dan Smith and Jason Scott.

There are a number of positional coaching positions available and other opportunities with the Midlands premier club and Coach Hilton is excited to get his staff in place ready to continue building on a successful first year that has established a new foundation for the Phoenix throughout the program.

Potential coaches should have the following:

A willingness to learn from the head coach and the coordinators

The desire to better yourself and your players, Tamworth strives to improve its team, players and club every week and you will become a part of this.

Candidates will be leaders for the players so must show enthusiasm and passion for the sport and the team.

BAFCA Level 1 qualification, but if not assistance to achieve that will be provided. All successful candidates will be supported by the club to develop themselves as coaches.

To apply to join the Phoenix coaching staff, please email tamworthphoenix@hotmail.co.uk, stating your name, your coaching experience and what you feel you can bring to the team.

The club is developing on all fronts at unprecedented rates so if you are interested in any aspect of the club (youth and junior coaches, back room staff, game day management) don’t hesitate to ask. The ‘Nix Nation are excited about their 2016 campaign already, come be a part of it!
