The Knights topped the regular season table to earn home
field advantage - a big plus over last year when the second placed Knights had
to travel away at this stage. They lost last year but hope to put that behind
them on home territory and secure a win that would take them to the Bowl game
and the chance of promotion back to the Premier
Division.
After some drama the visitors will be the Hertfordshire Cheetahs who the Knights
defeated earlier in the season by 49-27. The Cheetahs have just parted company
with their Head Coach but are confident that will not adversely affect them.
Head Coach Steve
Rains said "This is play off football - the season qualified us for that -
but its done now, its knock out from here on and as they say anything can
happen on any given Sunday.
Teams do not make the play offs unless they are very capable and we
need to ensure that we are at our best if we want to avoid an upset - we hope
to get a good crowd of supporters for what is bound to be an entertaining
game"
